Kingdom of Fun Wiki:Rules and Regulations

We have different rules here in the Kingdom Of Fun Wikia. Hence, they must be followed at all times.

• SWEARING - Swearing is forbidden. Any content, comment, or reply containing even a single swear sword shall be cleared off. See the MediaWiki:Badwords for a list of forbidden words.
  • Abbreviated, censored, and swear words in a different language are also forbidden.
• COMMENTING - Please keep your comments positive. Your comments must not contain the following:
  • Racism
  • Discrimination
  • Hate Speech (even in form of media)
  • Swearing/Cursing
    • Abbreviations are not allowed either.
  • Spam
  • Sexual Conduct
  • Harassment
  • Drama
  • Threats
  • Irrelevance
  • Inappropriate links
  • Roleplay
    • The commenting section is no place for roleplay. So take that to the Roleplay Theater board or chat.
• EDITING - Please edit positively. Users are encouraged to use good grammar, sentence structure, and the like. Do not edit by doing the following:
  • Vandalize
  • Spam
  • Edit a page without the permission of the user
    • This rule can only apply if a user has placed a template on his/her page(s) that tells users not to edit their pages without permission.
    • Administrators can edit other users's pages only for the sake of keeping the formatting neat and maintaining good grammar, punctuation, suitable categories and sentence structure. However, they still have to follow the mentioned rule.)
• HARASSMENT - Please treat each other kindly and politely. Do not harass each other in any of the following ways:
  • Sexual
  • Threat
  • Insults
  • Bullying
  • Racism
  • Discrimination
• TROLLING - Trolling is defined as deliberately offending or making provocative remarks for the purpose of upsetting other people. Trolling will lead you to a one day block if you are trolling so.
  • Trolling can also be counted as harassment.
• ADVERTISEMENT - Don't advertise by posting links to other wikis or chats to persuading users to go to the join or go to the following wiki links. Asking a user to help improve a wiki or any help regarding coding, CSS, JS, or so is not considered advertisement.
• REQUESTING FOR USER RIGHTS - It is the decision of the founder or by wiki staff to promote a user with rights--whether mod, rollbacks, admins, and the like. Do not request to be one. You will be promoted if the wiki staff thinks you are suitable enough. Asking will not gain you rights. Persistence can make the wiki staff not promote you at all. Threatening or forcing can gain you a block.
• SPAMMING - Do not spam anywhere on wiki with the follwing:
  • Links
  • "All-caps" letters
  • Repeated words
  • Random gibberish letters
• MINIMODDING - Users are discouraged to minimod. Giving tips, advices, and suggestions are fine enough. However, it is only the Wiki staff who gives out the orders and enforces the rules.
• BADGE FARMING - Badges are only considered "beauty" to the wiki and to the users, not as an advantage to make it to the top ranks. Editing frivolously (like spamming, vandalizing) for the sake of earning badges is a big offense and is not allowed. It does not matter which rank do you land on so do not badge - farm. Badges are only meant for fun.
• REMINDER, WARNING AND BLOCK MESSAGES - Do not remove reminder, warning, or block messages sent by admins to your wall.

• PROFILES AND MESSAGE WALL GREETINGS - You can place anything in your profile userpages and message wall greetings except for any content that may be offensive or that breaks the rules.

Use good grammar, good page formatting, good sentence structure, and good punctuation as much as possible.

Do not edit a page without a user's permission if the owner tells them not to edit without their permission.

• Remember to ask first and wait for their approval. Respect their responses whether they agree or not.

Do not vandalize articles.

Do not spam articles.

Do not add irrelevant images to articles.

Do not add pages/articles to categories they don't belong to.

When creating a page, observe the following guidelines regarding these:

• Do not create the pages with the following content:
  • Sexual
  • Explicit
  • Adult Content
  • Rated M
• Do not plagiarize articles. Have your own content. Should we detect plaigarism, you will be blocked for 3 days.
• If you are not yet done with an article, the most recommended thing to do is to tag your article with the {{WIP}} template.
  • You can also feel free to make your own page template.

Here are guidelines to proper uploading of files:

• Give proper titles. Titles that are spammy, gibberish or doesn't match with the image/video results it in getting the image title renamed to something proper and a warning marked on your wall.
• Do not upload files of the following content:
  • Sexual
  • Extreme gore
  • Offensive content (ex. Racism, Discrimination)
  • Adult Content
  • Rate M

Post all threads to the related Fourm board. For example, a thread regarding a topic about this wiki should be taken to the Discussion Court but not to the Fun and Games Carnival.

All replies must be related to all threads made by users. Unrelated replies will be removed upon notice.

Do not create spam threads.

Rules under "Under Conduct" regarding harassment, spamming, and commenting will still be applied to the Forum rules.

Here are guidelines to proper roleplaying:

• As stated earlier under User Conduct, roleplays are not to be performed in the comment section. Please use the Roleplay Theater board or the chat to perform your roleplays.
• Godmodding and puppeteering in roleplays is prohibited. Please roleplay fairly to avoid disputes and conflicts.
  • An example of godmodding is resurrecting for multiple times despite being killed.
  • An example of puppeteering is using a roleplay character and controlling its fate.
• Obey the rules that the roleplay hosts give you.
• Do not roleplay any real - life deities like God.

To all staff, remember you were only given certain user rights so that you could be constructive and discipline users fairly. Do not use your certain ranks as an advantage that you think you are better than anyone else. Remember, treat all users with equality and respect.

Please give reminders/warnings to users committing minor offenses first.

• This rule can be skipped to instant block instead for extremely major offenses like vandalism and spam.

When reminding users, please maintain a polite, respectful, and serious attitude. Do not use threats. Do not swear.

If you wish to have a feature for a wiki, please take it up with the rest of the staff for approval.

SOCKPUPPPETRY - Sockpuppetry is defined as creating an account to evade a block and disguising as a different person in order not to raise suspicions. Should we find out that you are trying to evade a block, your current block will be extended while your sockpuppet account will be infinitely block. Persistence of block/ban evading will finally result in an infinite block.

• ALT ACCOUNTS - Please do not use more than one account to chat or edit. Rather, use your alt accounts in case you are not going to use your usual account or you forgot your password. However, alt accounts will not be used to evade chat bans/blocks. In addition, do not create unnecessary multiple accounts.

• ABUSE OF RIGHTS - Any wiki staff found to be abusing staff rights will have their rights stripped off. It is up to the rest of the wiki staff if they will return their rights or not. Example of abuse of rights are:
  • Blocking/Banning a user for the wrong reasons.
  • Excessive violates the rules. This also includes violating the Wikia's Terms of Use.

• AGE ELIGIBILITY - Via Wikia's Terms of Use, the legal age to have an account is 13 and above. Users who will be found whose ages are under 13 will be blocked until they turn 13.

• WIKI RAIDING - There had been incidents in other wikis where wiki raids occur. Usually all raiding would start at the chat by spamming large text walls continuously. Raiding or attacking a wiki is not allowed. Those who will commit this offense of attacking this wiki will be permablocked. In the same way, you are also not allowed to attack any other wikis. Doing so will earn you a permablock from here as well.

• USER AVATARS - Use appropriate avatars. Avatars that have sexual, or offensive content are not allowed and you could earn a permablock for it. Your block will be lifted once you change it into an appropriate one.
